Enjoy an evening of art, culture, and entertainment at Temecula’s Award-Winning Art Off The Walls on the First Fridays of every month in Old Town Temecula! This unique event includes gallery exhibitions with art, entertainment, refreshments and more. Each month, on the first Friday, begin your evening in old Town at The Gallery at the Merc, from 6:00 pm – 9:30 pm, for an artist reception and multi-artist exhibition. Whether you enjoy viewing art, meeting other enthusiasts, or shopping for a unique gift there is something for everyone at this show!

In keeping with the City of Temecula motto “Old Traditions, New Opportunities” the Temecula Community Services Department and the Temecula Valley Museum offers a new program, “Second Saturday” to celebrate the history and heritage of the various and diverse cultures that make up its citizens. Each month will celebrate various cultures with food, music, activities, and art.
The first installment of this new program will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019 and the Temecula Valley Museum (located at 28314 Mercedes St.) will be celebrating Chinese New Year! Join in on the fun and enjoy tastes of Chinese food, make your own Chinese lantern, and take a photo with our special Chinese New Year photo wall. There will be a traditional Lion dance in front of the museum in Sam Hicks Monument Park at 11:30AM. Don’t miss this exciting performance!

In celebration of American History, the Temecula Valley Museum will host Jazzy Ash and the Leaping Lizards at the Old Town Temecula Community Theater (42051 Main St.) on Thursday, February 28, 2019 from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.
Join Jazzy Ash and the band as they take a joyous journey through early Black American music. Jazzy Ash uses some of the greatest songs from early black folk music, blues, ragtime and jazz to teach about the encouraging, multicultural story of Jazz in America.
