Meeting is held on the second floor of the FOC
Each Thursday (and special performance dates throughout the year), you will be treated to a different jazz group in the intimate space known as "The Merc". The Mercantile is one of Temecula's original buildings and has been beautifully restored. We wanted to take advantage of this venue and bring you straight ahead jazz every Thursday evening in this acoustically inspired space.
Support local artists and enjoy live entertainment at this free event that meets the first Friday of each month, at The Merc and Lot on Main!
Old Town Temecula
Presented by Gwyn Sanborn
Join us for live country music show featuring our house band backing up the valley’s hottest country artists. Artist showcases and songwriter nights change it up once in a while so be sure to check the schedule.
Every 1st and 3rd Saturday at 7pm (and 9pm if first show sells out).
Sizzling hot guitar solo. Smooth and soulful vocals. High-energy stage performance. Backed by a rhythm section that is second to none, this is Dennis Jones. Check out a live show, and you will instantly agree, this band ROCKS the Blues like no other!
Dennis’ feet are firmly rooted in the past, yet his heart and soul are connected to the present. He writes songs that seamlessly blend the best of both worlds, presenting a unique and contemporary style of American Rock and Blues unafraid to tackle today’s controversial issues.
Classics at The Merc is a bi-monthly chamber recital series co-produced by the California Chamber Orchestra and Temecula Presents.
Every 2nd and 4th Sunday afternoon we feature an individual musician or small ensemble performing a wide range of music. Our performers are all working professional musicians or advanced conservatory students.
The Classics at The Merc series is curated by Michael Molnau: Principal Violist, Music Librarian, and Orchestra Personnel Manager for the California Chamber Orchestra. In addition to featuring professional musicians from our own community, our close affiliations with San Diego State University’s Adams’ Project and with the Consortium of Southern California Chamber Music Presenters allow us to present a wide range of talent from Southern California and beyond.

Petty and the Heartshakers front man Dan Grennes’ uncanny resemblance to Tom Petty encouraged him to start a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band. Hear it for yourself as he revives Tom Petty favorites such as Yer So Bad, Free Fallin, Into The Great Wide Open, and so many more.
