Artist Applications Now Available for 2021 Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival – A Hybrid Event

Art and street painting festivalThe City of Temecula’s Community Services Department is proud to present the 2021 Temecula Art & Street Painting Festival – a hybrid event. This year’s Festival will look a little different than in years past as both a virtual as well as a modified ‘in-person’ setting will be implemented to create a safe and inviting hybrid event.  

The Virtual Art Exhibition will be held on the City’s website from JUN 1 - 6, 2021. The Chalk Art Competition will take place on Main Street in Old Town Temecula from JUN 4 – 6, 2021. The Best of Show Chalk Art Winner ($100 prize) will be announced on SUN, JUN 6, 2021 at end of the Festival.

Temecula Mayor Maryann Edwards commented, “Temecula’s annual Art & Street Painting Festival has been a community favorite in Old Town Temecula for years, providing an opportunity for aspiring artists of all ages to showcase their talents right here. The hybrid event this year is just another example of Team Temecula’s innovative, creative, and safe approach to supporting and promoting our valued and vibrant Arts & Culture community.”

Both Art Exhibitor and Chalk Artist Applications are available online now at TemeculaCA.gov/ArtFest. The Virtual Art Exhibitor Application fee is free and the deadline to apply is FRI, MAY 21, 2021 at 5:00 pm.  Exhibitors must have a working website. A Chalk Artist Application fee is just $5, and the deadline to apply is FRI, MAY 28, 2021 at 5:00 pm. Space is extremely limited due to COVID Guidelines.
