The Public Relations Society of America – Inland Empire Chapter (PRSA-IE) recognized the City of Temecula Community Services Department with two Capella Awards on Thursday, November 12, 2020, their annual Polaris Awards Ceremony held virtually this year.
The City of Temecula’s Community Services Department earned awards in the following categories:
Temecula Community Services District President and City Council Member, Zak Schwank acknowledged, “The theme of this year’s PRSA-IE Polaris Awards Ceremony was True Grit. By definition: To have grit means you have courage and show the strength of your character. A person with true grit has passion and perseverance. The City of Temecula continues to show true grit throughout this most difficult and challenging pandemic year, as we also commemorate our City’s 31st year of incorporation today.”
PRSA-IE Polaris Awards represent the highest standards of performance in public relations and communications professions within the Inland Empire. Polaris Awards recognize exemplary public relations efforts that successfully incorporate sound research, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
