The City of Temecula will host the Annual 4th of July Extravaganza on TUE, JUL 4, 2023. Get the whole family decked out in red, white, and blue apparel and kick off the fun filled day at 10:00 am with the popular Star-Spangled 4th of July Parade beginning on the south end of Old Town continuing north up Old Town Front Street from arch to arch. The Parade will feature City officials, Police, Fire, scout troops, businesses, and other local participants all sharing their love for our country. There are a limited number of parade entries still open, so hurry and reserve your organization’s spot and join in on all the fun!
City of Temecula Mayor Zak Schwank states, “This parade is something that is very special to experience. My family and I love seeing our community come together lining the streets in their red, white, and blue, waving American flags, and cheering on all the entries as they make their way down Old Town Front Street. Temecula’s hometown pride and gratitude for our freedom is on full display all day and night!”
After the Parade, it is time to pack up the family as the day continues at the Ronald Reagan Sports Park (30875 Rancho Vista Road) from 2:00 pm – 10:00 pm for Family Fun followed by the Fireworks Show. There will be food vendors and a large Kids Fun Zone. Enjoy a host of bands playing live music from 2:00 pm – 8:45 pm. Then, end the night with a spectacular fireworks show starting promptly at 9:00 pm.
Mayor Pro Tem & Temecula Community Services District President James ‘Stew’ Stewart adds, “I look forward to this event all year long because of the wonderful live entertainment and the best fireworks show in the Valley. Ronald Reagan Sports Park is the perfect venue to spend 4th of July with family and friends every year!”
