S.T.E.M. Program

The Junior Women’s S.T.E.M. Program is a program that is put on by the City of Temecula to expose middle school girls ages 11-14, to the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.).

Purpose


The program strives to:
  • Increase girls’ competency in conducting scientific investigations
  • Increase girls’ facility and mastery of S.T.E.M. skills as well as increasing their interest and understanding of the applications of S.T.E.M. in daily life
  • Increase the girls’ interest in pursuing S.T.E.M. careers and S.T.E.M. related elective classes, subjects, and majors
  • Strengthen girls’ critical thinking/reasoning skills

  • Dates: July 16, 17, 23, 24, 30, and 31st 2018
