TRIP Report

 
The purpose of the TRIP Report (Traffic
Restrictions in Progress) is to advise citizens of conditions affecting traffic flow within the City.
   
The following information consists of general major construction zones that are known at this time, but may not be all inclusive. 

There are always some unscheduled street and utility repairs that occur day and night that may not be reflected on this report.  Please drive safely through all delineated construction zones whether constructions crew are working or not.
Road Work Ahead Sign
1.  Calle Medusa, between Nicolas Road to La Serena Way
Project:  
Southern California Edison (SCE) 
Status:     Intermittent single lane closures for final paving.   Anticipate completion in July 2017.
2.  Del Rio Road and Jefferson Avenue
Project: Auto Spa
Status:  
Complete installation of sidewalk and final paving on Del Rio Road.  Anticipate completion in July 2017.
3.  Diaz Road and Avenida Alvarado
Project:  Southern California Edison (SCE)
Status:   Installation of facilities and dry utilities are currently on hold.  Works hours are 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 am.  Anticipate completion in July 2017.
4.  Interstate 15 and Temecula Parkway
Project:  Interstate 15 / State Route 79 South Interchange (Capital Improvement Program (CIP))
Status:   Construction is underway from June 2017 through December 2018.  Visit the project web page:  https://1579south.info/ for details on traffic restrictions.
5.  Margarita Road, from Rancho California Road to Temecula Parkway
Project: 
Pavement Rehabilitation Program – Margarita Road (Capital Improvement Program (CIP))
Status:  Rehabilitation of Margarita Road.  Outer lanes will be closed and then inner lanes to complete work.  Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Anticipate completion in September 2017

6.  Rancho California Road and Moraga Road
Project:  Highgate Senior Center
Status:   Ongoing day and night utility work by a private contractor.  Works hours on Rancho California Road are 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  Work hours on Moraga Road are 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Flagging and lane control at various times.  Anticipate completion in August 2017.
7.  Temecula Parkway and La Paz Street
Project:  Gateway to Temecula
Status:    Intermittent single lane closures for installations of utilities and curb & gutter.  Works hours are 7:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  Anticipate completion in July 2017.
8.  Temecula Parkway from Pechanga Parkway to Butterfield Stage Road
Project:  Citywide Slurry Seal for Arterial Streets (Capital Improvement Program (CIP))
Status:  Slurry Seal work.  Outer lanes will closed and then inner lanes to complete work.  Works hours are 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.  Anticipate completion in July 2017.
9.  Temecula Parkway and George Cushman Ct.
Project:  Spectrum
Status:  Boring/drilling for installation of cables.  Intermittent lane closures to be expected.  Works hours are from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.  All work will be complete by July 21, 2017.
10.  Vallejo Avenue, west of La Paz Street
ProjectHope Lutheran Church
Status:  Intermittent single lane closures for paving work and installation of dry utilities.  Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Anticipate completion by end of July 2017.
11.  Via Lobo Road and Nicolas Road
Project:  Arbor Vista Project (Lennar Homes)
Status:   Installation of wet utilities, and curb & gutter are ongoing.  Intermittent lane closures are anticipated.  Work hours are 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Anticipate completion July 2017.
12.  Via Norte / Del Rey Road Loop
Project:  Southern California Edison (SCE)
Status:   Intermittent road closures are anticipated for installation of dry utilities and facilities.  Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  Anticipate completion July 2017.
13.  Winchester Road, from Ynez Road to Margarita Road
Project:  Citywide Slurry Seal for Arterial Streets (Capital Improvement Program (CIP))
Status:  Slurry Seal is complete.  Striping work is anticipated to be complete in July 2017.  Works hours are 9:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m.
*  Various Locations throughout City of Temecula
Project:  Citywide Concrete Repairs (Capital Improvement Program (CIP))
Status:  Remove and replace various curb and gutter, sidewalk sections, drive approaches, under sidewalk drains, cross gutters, spandrels and ADA ramps, with all necessary traffic control.  Expect intermittent lane closures.  Anticipate completion in August 2017.
