The City of Temecula has four commissions and one advisory committee. Members are appointed by and serve in an advisory capacity to the City Council. A detailed description, agendas, and minutes can be found on each respective page.
The Community Services Commission (CSC) reviews and makes recommendations on topics related to the Parks and Recreation Element of the General Plan and works to provide parks and recreation services and programs for the community.
The Planning Commission (PC), serving as the designated statutory planning agency for the City of Temecula, reviews and makes recommendations on topics related to subdivisions, specific plans, zone changes, plot plans and conducts legally required public hearings.
The Race, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion (REDI) Commission reviews and make recommendations on topics of diversity and inclusion within City events, services, programs and policies and enhanced community relations.
The board and commission open recruitment period is now closed. The next recruitment period will be August 1 - September 30, 2024. Appointments will be made by the City Council in October/November 2024. The application for the annual appointment process will be available on this page at that time.
