Equity is one of the core values we have here at the City of Temecula. Equity is important when it comes to website accessibility because it ensures that everyone, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, has equal access to the information and resources on the website. That's why the City of Temecula implemented Page Assist.
Page Assist is a toolbar added to the TemeculaCA.gov website to give visitors control over the way they experience our site and making it easier to read and find specific information.
Located in the lower right of every page is the Page Assist button.
Clicking the Page Assist button opens a menu that lets you change the way the website looks.
- Change the font to Serif, Sans-serif, or use a font specifically made for Dyslexia
- Change the font size
- Change your cursor size
- Change contrast
- Highlight elements on the page
- and much more!
Click around and try it yourself. There's a "Reset View" button at the bottom of the menu that reverts your changes back to the default view.
