- Economic Stimulus and Recovery for Our Community
On March 27, 2020, a historic $2 trillion stimulus package was signed into law to provide economic relief to various segments of communities impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. This stimulus package, often referred to as the CARES Act, includes a number of economic measures, including monetary payments, incentives, rebates and other assistance for individuals and families, small businesses, industries, etc. Two additional federal stimulus packages were passed prior to the CARES Act and more may be coming.
Economic assistance is also being provided through the State of California and private sources. The information below represents a non-inclusive list of a variety of economic recovery resources. This information is what is known at a given time and will be updated on a regular basis as the federal government issues further guidance to local and state governments, administering agencies and private industry. Direct contact with the agencies administering programs, as referenced through the links below, is strongly encouraged.
