The year of 2020 is the year of #TemeculaFUN! Find out what makes our city fun as you Discover Temecula throughout the year with monthly photo challenges. By participating in each monthly Discover Temecula photo challenge, you will be entered into a grand prize drawing. Following the “Temecula State of the City Address,” our Mayor will reveal the grand prize in June 2020. The winner will be announced in late November 2020. Get started on the fun this December when we announce our first challenge.
Each month, you will be encouraged to attend a City event and/or visit a City facility

- Attend the Second Saturday event at the Temecula Valley Museum and learn about China’s culture as you celebrate Chinese New Year with food, art and entertainment. Snap a photo of your favorite part on the event on Saturday, February 8th from 11:00am-1:00pm.
- The Mercantile Building is said to be the first brick building in Temecula, built in 1890. Today, we refer to it as The Merc and it operates as a great venue for musical performances and art exhibits. Even if you’re not able to stay for a show, take a picture in front of The Merc!
