Activities

Students are equipped with foundational skills essential for achieving success in their entrepreneurial endeavors. 

This program empowers the youth to create their own business. Learning the core concepts of business design and development will give the youth knowledge and hands-on experience with a field directly related to the financial growth and sustentation of the City of Temecula’s economy, increasing the economic and overall business life around Temecula. 

If you’re an aspiring young entrepreneur or you’re simply interested in learning more about the world of business, then come join us! You’ll receive hands-on experience and learn from entrepreneurial guest speakers. You’ll have the opportunity to develop your own mock business and learn about:

  • Marketing 
  • Business Planning 
  • Market research 
  • Budgeting 
  • Business Pitching 
  • Business Law 

By investing in our youth, Youth Entrepreneur Program students will augment their potential for becoming significant contributors to the local, statewide, and national economy, creating new jobs and becoming forces of innovation and economic growth. With hands-on learning and engaging guest speakers, the Youth Entrepreneur Program will be a memorable way to spend your summer!

Duration

The 2023 program will be two weeks during the summer.

Date:                    Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, July 19, 2023 – July 28, 2023

Time:                    9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Location:             Temecula Valley Entrepreneur's Exchange, 43200 Business Park Drive, Temecula, CA 92590

Requirements & Qualifications

  • This program is intended for students in the Inland Southern California region enrolled in local high schools.
  • Students must be between 14 and 18 years of age.
  • Students should be committed to the program.

Registration

Registration will be available for students at NO COST. Registration will be available online at temeculaca.gov/register starting May 1, 2023 at 8:00 am.
