S.T.E.M. Program

The Junior Women’s S.T.E.M. Program is an after school program that is put on by the City of Temecula to expose middle school girls to the areas of science, technology, engineering, and math (S.T.E.M.).

Purpose
The program strives to:
  • Increase girls’ competency in conducting scientific investigations
  • Increase girls’ facility and mastery of S.T.E.M. skills as well as increasing their interest and understanding of the applications of S.T.E.M. in daily life
  • Increase the girls’ interest in pursuing S.T.E.M. careers and S.T.E.M. related elective classes, subjects, and majors
  • Strengthen girls’ critical thinking/reasoning skills
