Children with special needs are served through Special Needs Access at your Public Library (S.N.A.P.L.).

S.N.A.P.L. Storytime
S.N.A.P.L. Storytime includes:
  • Group participation
  • Interactive activities
  • Sensory toys
  • Storytelling
S.N.A.P.L. Special Needs Access at your Public Library
Sensory Toys
Sensory toys for children are available for use in the library with a valid library card at the Youth Services desk during open library hours.

iPads
  • Feature educational software
  • May be checked out for 2  hours per day per family/group
  • May be used by adults with a valid library card and valid photo ID
  • May be used only in the Kids’ Library
Book Collection
The S.N.A.P.L. collection includes books on:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorders
  • Cerebral Palsy
  • Down Syndrome
  • Physical and sensory challenges
